Creating Personal Impact for Success in 2010
You know how extraordinary it feels when you are operating at your best, when your pitch is well received, you run the meeting with confidence, the audience at your presentation is with you emotionally or you really build rapport with a prospective client. Imagine if you could always have this sort of confidence in your interactions with others, if you could always create the impression you want to create.
You have an impact on everyone you meet. Your impact is dependent on your personal presence. Make it work for you. Mariette Rups-Donnelly is an expert on ‘standing out’. She is a professional speaker, MC and master presentation skills and performance coach. She draws her expertise from a 34 year career as an actor and teacher of actors. She has performed nationally and internationally with leading roles in plays and musicals such as Hamlet, The Seagull, Away, A Chorus Line, Annie, Godspell, Company and the title role in Evita.
In this presentation you will discover:
- How your Personal Impact is affected negatively or positively by your personal presence.
- The 4 factors that contribute to personal presence.
- ‘POW energy’ – what it is, how to recognise it, how to use it.
- How to create Personal Impact for sales, meetings and presentations

10th March 2010
Guest Speaker: Jan Sky
ESI® – Mapping the Many Parts of You
With the evolution of time comes the evolution of professional tools.
ESI® - Executive State Identification, is based on ego state personality theory and is a psycho-analytical tool which has its origins embedded in the work of Freud and Federn.
Evolving into a modern day approach to coaching, ESI® is a tool that maps the many 'parts' of one's personality. Its strength is in its concept of mapping and acknowledging the different parts of an individual's psyche, both inhibitive and supportive factors, then providing strategies for behavioural change.
These parts of a personality are called 'states', and ESI® operates on the premise that whichever state is executive (or operational) at a given time, it consumes our thinking and our behaviour is displayed. So, while most of the time our rational, cognitive mind will process the information and process what we could do or how we could behave, there are times when this ‘normal’ function fails to work in our favour.

Heart Health - Entertainment Educator
Shane has spent 7 years working for the National Heart Foundation of Australia in Canberra with a degree in Health, Phys Ed & Sports Science.
Sadly his father passed away from a sudden heart attack on Nov 1st 1989 - aged just 47 years old. This year marks the 20th anniversay of my fathers death - today 128 people die per day of heart and blood vessel disease.
Shane's Mission is to provide an innovative education series called "Disocver the beat of your healthy heart" and lower your risk of cardiovascualr disease.
Most are premature like his father because they do not have the environment/culture to help them. Shane's aim is to help create the culture we need to avoid the pain of losing the people we love the most.
