BRAS Charity Luncheon Friday 14 September 2018, Rydges Campbelltown
Our charity luncheon event will be held on the 14th September
2018, at Rydges Campbelltown, 15 Old Menangle Road,
Campbelltown, NSW 2560.
Our guest speaker will be the delightful Gretel Killeen, who started her career after dropping out of law studies and accidentally performing comedy while reading a serious poem. Since then she’s written several best-selling novels, been a leading voice artist, hosted Logie award winning TV and won a Mo Award for her TV presenting. She’s produced TV packages in Afghanistan, MC’d for troops from Iraq to Egypt, the Solomon Islands and East Timor, created CSA’s in India, Bangladesh and Laos and, while a UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador, directed a documentary to promote awareness of the plight of AIDS orphans in Zambia. Gretel is seen regularly on TV as a social/political commentator, creates as a publisher and theatre director and is the lead singer in a pretty appalling band.
