DEBORAH HUTTON CHARITY LUNCH 2012
Our 2012 Charity Luncheon in Macarthur was hosted by the very beautiful Deborah Hutton. She has become one of the most recognisable and best known personalities of modern Australia. Deborah’s career has spanned over 30 years and she has inspired many women along the way, and she continues to do so through her many ventures.
Deborah enlightened all in attendance with a snap-shot of her amazing career while also touching on the realities of life that she too has had to bear. Deborah is captivating but also very down-to-earth and her connection with audience was heartfelt.

BRAS ONGOING SCHOOL PROGRAM
As part of our ongoing commitment to a growing and prosperous Macarthur region, in 2006, we developed a successful High School program where we sponsor students each month to attend our breakfast and other events. This provides these students, in excess of 100 to date, with an opportunity to meet and mix with local business women who can help teach and pass on knowledge and skills that can assist them not only in their personal lives but also for their future business aspirations.
BRAS CONTINUED SUPPORT ACROSS MACARTHUR
BRAS is a not-for-profit women’s networking group across the Macarthur region, which commenced with a small group of passionate business women in 2005. Our breakfast meetings are held on the second Wednesday of every month at 6.45am for 7am and the first Wednesday of the month for our Christmas Breakfast in December. We do not have a January breakfast meeting.
Our vision is to provide a meeting to help our members and guests reach their true potential and pass it onto others, through business and friendship.
As part of our continued development and community support we have raised in excess of $30,000. Some of our events have included –
2007 Celebrating Women in Macarthur with approximately $4,000 being raised. This money was donated to Kids of Macarthur Health Foundation and Macarthur Lifeline.
2008 we held our second event Celebrating 100 years of Women in Macarthur. With the ongoing support of Macarthur business women we raised a further $4,000 and donated this Kids of Macarthur Health Foundations and Macarthur Lifeline.
2009 we held Women in Business Symposium where we raised over $5,000 for our charities St Vincent De Paul Society and Mater Dei.

We raised in excess of $10,000 which was donated to Youth Solutions, a non-Government, community based, and youth drug prevention charity
In 2012 we hosted ‘Deborah Hutton’ at our Charity Luncheon in Macarthur. Deborah Hutton has become one of the most recognisable and best known personalities of modern Australia. Deborah’s career has spanned over 30 years and she has inspired many women along the way. We donated $8000 to The Right Start Foundation – a charity organisation committed to raising awareness of Down Syndrome, with the primary goal of building the first Down Syndrome Centre in Australia supporting families from the start and each stage of their child’s life
Our aim is to continue holding fund raising events for various charities, whilst bringing together women and business to help reach their true potential and to pass it on through business and friendship.
